Two options to participate:

walk the 1 mile in your own neighborhood (send us pics!)
"To walk toward the future, the past is needed"
Sunday, September 13th
This Sunday, September 13th is National Grandparents Day! Celebrate your grandparents by making them cards, giving them a call and if possible...spending some time with them in-person or virtually!
Use the Blessing below and invite your children to bless their grandparents!
Sometimes we might forget how important it is to nurture these relationships. Encourage connections between generations with
Loyola Press' new choice board
that invites children to learn about and develop deeper relationships with their elders. Give children choices by asking them to select and complete a set number of activities from the board: three-in-a-row, any four, or whatever number you choose. Activities include options for children to interview their grandparents, write a song, make a chart, and more.
Even if you do not have grandparents living you can celebrate a loved elder’s in your life. If not in honor of Grandparents Day, celebrate their birthday or mix it up on a future family video chat with ideas from the Connecting Generations Choice Board.
Sharing the Wisdom of Time
for more inspiration!
