Returning to Mass
FEAST OF THE ASCENSION
Saturday | May 23 | 5 PM
Sunday | May 24 | 9:15 AM
Our hearts are filled with joy, as we take the first steps toward celebrating Mass together again. Your safety and health are of utmost importance to us. Rest assured that we are making every effort to ensure that all the necessary safeguards will be in place.
As we have stressed in the past, if you fall within the 'vulnerable' category, as defined by the CDC, we recommend you stay home.
Please remember that the obligation to attend Sunday Mass continues to be suspended in the Diocese of Richmond.
Do not feel that attendance is mandatory, just because it is available.
A pre-recorded Mass will continue to be streamed on our Facebook Page at 11:15
AM every Sunday for the foreseeable future.
While we are still a warm and welcoming faith community, church will look, feel, and sound differently for the foreseeable future. We will continue to have capacity restrictions during this first phase, and, therefore, have opened a lottery system for Mass attendance.
Every week, the lottery will open on Monday morning and will close at 9 PM on Wednesday. Once the random selection is completed, a separate direct email will be sent to the selected parishioners on Thursday or Friday with further instructions.
Guidelines & Lottery Info:
Mass Attendance Guidelines & Lottery
If you are considering entering the lottery to attend a weekend Mass, please review the following helpful and important information.
Taking a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the diocesan guidelines will help us set expectations as to what Mass will be like when we return.

Faith & Politics
How can we live out our faith in and out of the voting booth. As followers of Christ, we are called to participate and get involved.
Small Group Zoom Session - Second Session TODAY
We are excited to offer a new small group session with Diane Hamilton.
We are called to witness to Faithful Citizenship, as we participate in the public square through political engagement and civil dialogue. When we shine the light on this and imitate Christ's love, we will approach the conversations with love, charity, justice, and peace.
Registration Required. FREE.

Gregg Kamper will unite this group in prayer, formation, and discussion.

Blood Drive - June 21

Our parish continues to have a positive impact on our community. Last month, a special weekday Blood Drive was held in the Lake House to help make up for the many canceled local drives due to business closures. During that very successful drive, 35 units of blood were collected and are now on their way to help save lives in our region.
Thank you, St. Michael!
Our regularly scheduled Blood Drive is coming up next month.
Please note that there will be no Saturday drive.
Anyone who donated during our special May Blood Drive are not eligible to donate in June.
We need others to sign up and fill the 34 slots that are available.
